Ingredients

  • For the smoothie base
  • 2 frozen bananas, sliced

  • 2 cups frozen mixed berries, such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened vegan milk, such as almond, oat, or soy

  • 1/2 cup vegan vanilla yogurt

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or agave, optional

  • For the toppings
  • 1 banana, sliced

  • 4 –5 strawberries, sliced

  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries

  • 3/4 cup vegan granola (many store-bought granolas are vegan)

  • 1 –2 tbsp raisins or other dried fruit, optional

Directions

  • Blend the smoothie. Add the frozen bananas, frozen berries, vegan milk, vegan yogurt, and optional maple syrup to a blender. Blend until thick and creamy. Add vegan milk a tablespoon at a time if needed—the mixture should stay thick enough to eat with a spoon.
  • Divide into bowls. Spoon the smoothie mixture evenly between two bowls.
  • Add the toppings. Arrange the banana slices, strawberries, and blueberries over the smoothie. Add the vegan granola and dried fruit.
  • Serve immediately. Enjoy while the smoothie base is cold and thick.
